Greetings! I’m Joe Musumeci the owner at Tap cafe 52 Martin Place. As we make it to the decade mark this September, let me take you on a journey through our fast casual concept.
A decade ago, the concept of Tap sprang to life when the forward-thinking building owners of 52 martin place envisioned a dynamic space where people could customize their meals, indulge in house made grab and go treats and exceptional coffee all in a welcoming atmosphere. Together with a retail consultant and the building owners (at that time) it was our main goal to make our concept unique and not to compete with the upmarket wine bar on the same level.
From the outset, our mission has been clear: to offer a diverse menu offering design your own salads, an array of sandwiches and wraps and an enticing selection of treats. Each lunch menu item we create is crafted using premium ingredients. In fact we have a delivery from flemington markets come in daily.
At Tap cafe 52 Martin Place coffee is not just a beverage-it’s a passion. With having worked with over 50 guest roasters of the past 20 years I’ve dedicated myself to providing a great coffee experience to our customers and guests. That’s why we proudly serve Toby’s estate coffee as our house blend. Delivering a rich and aromatic cup it works extremely well with milk and also black (for all the coffee connoiseurs.
Tap Cafe is more than a place just to grab a quick bite or coffee. Over the years we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming regulars who have embraced our customized options, as well as visitors who have discovered the joy of creating their own salads.
As we reflect on the past decade, we’re greatful for the unwavering support of our loyal customers. The dedication of our hardworking staff and for those loyal customers who called to offer support during covid (a time I would rather not talk about)
